Founded in 1966 as West Land. Ltd., Westco has expanded from its modest beginnings to become one of the area’s most trusted names in trading, construction and mining. The company conducts business throughout Afghanistan, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Through the years, Westco Group has broadened its reach and core services while never losing sight of its primary commitment to its customers.
In 1994, registered as Westland General Trading LLC and following growth into Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, the company’s headquarters were relocated from Singapore to the convenient urban metropolis of Dubai. With new headquarters, the company was better able to provide the elevated level of service its customers had grown to expect and appreciate.
Today, Westco employs more than 200 professionals under six specialized companies: West Land General Trading LLC, Westco International FZE, West Land Co. Ltd., and Metal Minding LTD. The company specializes in construction, tea and coffee trading, and gold and chrome operations, proudly managing Afghanistan’s largest gold and chromium reserves.

Arab tea, like Weston tea is of top quality tea. Arab tea is usually blends of different regions. Best known for its aromatic qualities.
Weston Coffee
Weston Coffee is a blend of fruit forward with a creamy mouth-feel. Our coffee is a medium roast blend of coffees from around the world to achieve the best blend of coffee.
Afghan Chrome Ore
Proud owners of Logar and Maidan Wardak Chrome Mines. Driven by ambition, we are thriving to become a reference in responsible mining. Currently we produce 5,000+ MT of very high quality chrome ore.
Trading
We are a distribution, wholesale and import business of Fast Moving Consumer Goods, throughout Middle East and South Asia. We can offer our customers a wide range of our private labeled brands, such as toiletries, household goods, hygienic articles, perfumes, confectioneries and beverages.
Tea and Coffee Packing Factory
Located in Ras Al Khaimah, we have a state of art tea packing factory. Currently we pack 6000Mt of tea and coffee annually.
